A letter from Tee

Welcome to the Foxx Den, Mama 🦊💗

Hello, beautiful mama. My name is Tee Foxx, and I created the Foxx Den for a reason that is deeply personal to me.

Nine years ago, I welcomed my baby boy into the world. He weighed just 4 pounds and 6 ounces and arrived six weeks early. As a first-time mom, I was overwhelmed with fear, stress, and exhaustion. Between pumping around the clock, worrying about his health, watching for developmental milestones, and being terrified that I might accidentally roll over on him while sleeping, my mind rarely had a moment to rest.

I was so focused on being the best mom I could be that I didn't recognize how much I was struggling emotionally. I didn't fully understand postpartum depression, what it could look like, or how deeply it could affect a mother's life. I experienced a very dark period, and looking back, I wish I had known the signs. I wish I had felt comfortable asking for help. Most of all, I wish I had a safe space where I could be honest about what I was feeling without fear of judgment.

I created this space for the moms who love with everything they have but constantly put themselves last. For the moms who smile in front of everyone while silently struggling behind closed doors. For the moms who feel overwhelmed, lonely, exhausted, or disconnected but don't know how to explain what they're experiencing. For the moms who don't have family nearby, a reliable support system, or someone they feel comfortable turning to.

I also want to remind you that you don't have to reach a breaking point before you deserve help. You don't have to prove that you're struggling enough. You can love your baby deeply and still struggle with motherhood — both things can be true.

If nobody has told you lately, let me be the one to tell you: you matter, too, Mama. You deserve rest. You deserve support. You deserve to be heard. And you deserve to feel like yourself again.

With love, understanding, and a whole lot of heart,

Tee FoxxFounder of the Foxx Den — A Safe Space for Moms
